To remove plastic xxxx covers, gently pry them off using a flathead screwdriver or a plastic prying tool. Insert the tool under the edge of the cover and carefully lift it up, taking care not to damage the surrounding surface. If the cover is stubborn, apply a bit of upward pressure and twist slightly to loosen it.
